LaborMAX Staffing Toledo has partnered with a well-known client in Maumee, and we are seeking skilled Machine Operators. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating large metal-cutting machines to produce high-quality products. This is a full-time temp-to-hire position, that will require you to train on 1st shift for about 30 days.

Willing to train the right person that can show time (longevity) on their past jobs via a current an updated resume and successfully pass the math skills assessments.

Hours:

2nd Shift (3PM-11PM) *must be able to train on 1st shift*

3rd Shift (11PM-7AM) *must be able to train on 1st shift*

Pay Rate: $19/hr.

Responsibilities:

- Operate large metal-cutting machines: Laser Cutting, Water Jet, Precision Bar Saw, Laser Punch combo, Shear Cutting.

Math skills assessment required converting decimals to fractions- reading a decimal ruler- add, subtract and multiply using decimals- and basic tape measure testing.

This position does require a Background Check - Ability to bend, climb, and lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly - Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16" - Ability to make simple decimal-fraction conversions - Basic computer skills - Ability to use/read micrometers and calipers - Math skills assessment required converting decimals to fractions- reading a decimal ruler- add, subtract and multiply using decimals- and basic tape measure testing.
