Schedule - Mondays 6am-4pm, Tue-Fri 730am-4pm
Pay - $22-$24 to start DOE

Summary of Position
The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate inventory management throughout the organization. You will be responsible for overseeing inventory control processes, ensuring compliance with company guidelines, and making valuable suggestions for process improvement. Your expertise in inventory management and supply chain operations will be essential in maintaining optimal stock levels and resolving discrepancies. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 6am to 4pm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with training new employees and staff in all inventory control processes according to manual
Monitor all procurement requests of facilities and ensure accuracy in all inbound inventory and maintain records for same
Oversee inventory and supply chain management according to company guidelines.
Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct number of items are in stock.
To investigate, identify and reconcile the cycle count discrepancies, i.e., shortages as well as overages.
Review documentation and monitor product codes to search for discrepancies; troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records.
Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures to maximize efficiency and cut operations costs.

Requirements:
Required High School Diploma Forklift knowledge and experience Proven experience in inventory management Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities Preferred Qualifications Post secondary education (2 or 4 yr. degree in Supply Chain or Business/Operations) Experience within the warehousing industry Ability to work cross-functionally. Flexibility in work hours/schedule Working knowledge of inventory management software (e.g. ERP)
